
The following steps are only for Salesforce.com Trial and Professional Accounts. Once the package is installed, ALL fields will need to be applied to at least one layout per object (Account, Opportunity, Opportunity Product, and Product) for DataSynch to run correctly.
- To begin, you will need to be logged in to Salesforce and navigate to Setup > App Setup > Customize.
- Under Customize, go to Accounts > Page Layouts and choose a layout to edit (if more than one layout exists).
- Drag the 'FreshBooks Email' and 'FreshBooks ClientId' fields (defined in the Field Synchronization Comparison) to the layout as shown below.

- Select 'Visualforce Pages' toward the left of the ‘available fields’ area.
- Click and drag the 'FreshBooksEmailCheck' page to the layout as shown below (The Visualforce page can be resized through the tool icon at the top right of the page if desired).

- Click Save to save the layout.
- Next, under Customize, go to Opportunities > Page Layouts and choose a layout to edit (if more than one layout exists).
- Click and drag the “Section” button down to the Opportunity Detail area. In the Section Name textbox, type “FreshBooks Information” and click “OK.”

- Add the new custom fields (defined in the Field Synchronization Comparison) to the FreshBooks Information section as shown below.

- Click Save to save the layout.
- Next, under Customize, go to Opportunity > Opportunity Products > Page Layouts and choose a layout to edit (if more than one layout exists).
- Drag the new 'FB Txn Line Id' field (defined in the Field Synchronization Comparison) to the layout as shown below.

- Click Save to save the layout.
- Lastly, under Customize, go to Products > Page Layouts and choose a layout to edit (if more than one layout exists).
- Drag the new 'FB Item Id' field (defined in the Field Synchronization Comparison) to the layout as shown below.

- Click Save to save the layout.
