Need a high-performance, multi-threading Java engine to leverage your HPC multi-core hardware? Here it comes…

Pervasive's new all-Java engine, Dataflow, addresses Java developers' needs when the technology problem you are trying to solve includes one or more of the following aspects:

  • Large data feeds with records needing to be parsed, processed, transformed, and written to one or more disparate target data stores
  • A need for the hardcore multithreading logic required to make full use of multi-core SMP hardware to be seamlessly provided by a Java data flow architecture
  • A requirement for a Java component framework that allows limitless source and target connector development (beyond simple JDBC) as well as component development providing custom data transformation and general processing logic
  • A 100% Java solution with wide platform and JVM support
  • A requirement for a powerful data processing system with a small footprint that is both easy to embed in your current software stack and easy to extend
  • A need for a highly dynamic programming paradigm that can easily adjust to run-time considerations such as schema changes, availability of CPU and memory resources, and the amount of data being processed
  • A very extensible Java framework that employs IOC (Inversion of Control) methodology that allows you to easily wrapper existing technology investments for inclusion in a highly paralleled, dynamically configurable framework
  • A powerful but easy to understand data processing system that allows you to begin producing highly scalable solutions within a short amount of time

A SOX audit is coming – are you really ready? Part two of a two-part series on the Sarbanes-Oxley Act impact on IT.

In a nutshell, public companies must provide evidence of internal control assessment, including the documentation of control procedures related to IT. But the law is not specific as to what internal controls are needed to meet audit standards. And, because most corporate executives will find the best point of control to be through IT applications and processes, IT is directly impacted by SOX compliance initiatives.

Since most companies' financial data resides in disparate systems and applications, application integration, data integration, and data migration all may be required to ensure audit readiness.

We have a handy checklist to help you assess your readiness.

When custom code has been used to implement data integration solutions, businesses can be left open to possible audit exposure. Each custom-developed interface can potentially be written in a different programming language, employ multiple technologies, and include varying degrees of documentation. And with SOX audits being annual events, having repeatable, reliable, transparent processes are the key to an on-going, sustainable system of internal controls.

Pervasive Business Integrator's Process Designer and Repository Manager provides an exceptionally strong framework for the risks associated with SOX technology-related requirements and data integration. This robust platform can minimize your risk by reducing your reliance on custom code with an infrastructure that can be easily documented, provide audit proof of all sources and targets, and is highly reliable.

With the right integration tool in place, you can be most assured that your compliance will hold up in the event of an audit. Try our checklist to help you assess your SOX audit readiness. Contact us to receive your free copy.

This Web Seminar will address critical issues in CRM implementations, including identity resolution, data migration and customer data integration. Pervasive will also present a variety of real-world CRM case studies demonstrating how its customers overcame the "Achilles' heel" of data integration.

Highlights:

  • Understand how data is used, not just stored
  • Three implementation options for Customer Data Integration
  • Real-world case studies of successful CRM and data integration projects
