Using Pervasive PSQL Documentation

Chapter contents

All Pervasive PSQL documentation assumes you are familiar with the basics of using a computer, such as clicking and dragging, opening and saving files. If you need assistance with these tasks, please consult the documentation that came with your computer and/or operating system.

Softcopy documentation is installed on Windows platforms when you choose the Complete installation. The JavaHelp documentation is available as an option in the Custom installation as part of the Java based utilities.

Once installed, the documentation is accessible from the Pervasive program on the Start menu.

For NetWare users, you can access the online documentation on any Windows workstation that has the database client installed.

For Linux users, you can access the online documentation on the server in JavaHelp format. Certain utilities also provide manpages.

Individual manuals, and the complete set, are available for purchase through the Pervasive Web site or through the Pervasive Software Sales Team. To order, contact Pervasive Software online at http://www.pervasive.com/ecommerce/Scripts/default.asp, e-mail salessupport@pervasive.com, or telephone 1-800-287-4383.
