This chapter discusses the configuration settings for engines and clients.
Each configuration setting lists a number of parameters in a tabular format.

Explanation

Name
|
The name of the parameter.

Type
|
Defines the value type. The different types are:
- Numeric
- Bool(ean)
- String
- Multisel(ect) - choose several values from a given list
- SelectOne - must choose one value from a given list

Value
|
Shows the current setting.
|
|
Units
|
If the value is numeric, this field explains any specific units of measure, such as KB or seconds, if required.
