Configuration Through PCC

In PCC, the configuration settings are properties of an engine or a client. All registered engines appear as nodes in Pervasive PSQL Explorer and allow you to configure settings through the properties. Only the local client appears in Pervasive PSQL Explorer.
You set configuration settings for clients at each client machine itself. By default, PCC is installed with the client components.
To access configuration settings in PCC for an engine
- In Pervasive PSQL Explorer, expand the Engines node in the tree (click the expand icon to the left of the node).
- Right-click on the database engine for which you want to specify configuration settings.
- Click Properties.
- Click the desired option category in the tree to display the settings for that category of options.
- Optionally, press shift+F1 to access help for the settings.
To access configuration settings in PCC for a local client
- In Pervasive PSQL Explorer, expand the Local Client node in the tree (click the expand icon to the left of the node).
- Right-click on MicroKernel Router.
- Click Properties.
- Click the desired option category in the tree to display the settings for that category of options.
- Optionally, press shift+F1 to access help for the settings.
