Server Engine Trial for Linux

The Pervasive PSQL V8 Server engine for Linux trial download includes a 30-day, 20 user evaluation license which will automatically be applied during installation.

Please note that you must run the Linux Server installation program from your Linux server on which the Pervasive PSQL V8 database services will be running.

Anyone downloading this evaluation product should view the README file prior to setup. This is the complete server setup program and required files and directories.

Installation Options

Warning: Before downloading the trial version, make sure you have a folder available that is not on your system PATH and is not under your PVSW or BTI directory. For example, create a folder named MYV8TRIAL and direct the download to that location.

Note: If you are installing the Pervasive PSQL V8 Server for Linux on a Red Hat 8.0 deployment please read the following Knowledge Base article before installing.

• Pervasive PSQL V8 Server TAR and RPM formats included (approx. 22 meg).
• Download Windows client (approx. 35 meg).
• Download Linux client TAR and RPM formats included (approx. 16 meg).
• Download PDF documentation (approx. 10 meg).

Please note that this trial download of Pervasive PSQL V8 will automatically install a 20 user trial license that will expire in 30 days. You will not be prompted for a license key. This trial may be installed on either a system that has previously had a release version of Pervasive PSQL V8 installed or a system that has never had Pervasive PSQL V8 installed. This trial may only be installed once on your system. If this trial has already been installed and has expired, installation will not be able to complete.
