About Java Class Library

Java Class Library (JCL) is a set of classes that allow access to Btrieve data.

For information on new and changed JCL functionality in PSQL v12, see What’s New in PSQL.

System Requirements

Existing install of PSQL v12 database engine if you want to use any of the features in that release.

Getting Started

The runtime files for the JCL access method are installed by default with PSQL Server, PSQL Workgroup, and PSQL Client.

The header files and sample files are available for download from the PSQL website.
