AUSTIN, Texas – November 20, 2009 - Pervasive Software® Inc. (NASDAQ: PVSW), a global leader in cloud-based and on-premises data integration software, today announced the winners of the 2009 InnovatioNEXT Integration Solutions Awards at the company’s user conference, IntegratioNEXTDaptiv, the Defense Logistics Agency, EC Wise and EthosPartners were named the 2009 winners by a panel of Pervasive executives after thorough consideration of the level of innovation and breadth of partners and customers.

“The 2009 InnovatioNEXT award winners exhibit the same drive and determination to provide innovative, game-changing technology as Pervasive Software,” said Mike Hoskins, Pervasive CTO and general manager of Integration Products. “Each one of these companies has applied our technology to diverse integration scenarios, leveraging repeatability and re-use to crunch costs and timelines resulting in a major impact on their customers’ effectiveness and costs.”

Daptiv adopted Pervasive Data Integrator™ to underpin its Daptiv Connect competitive strategy to slash the time and cost of its SaaS deployments and, as a direct consequence, enabled Daptiv to become a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Project and Portfolio Management.  Daptiv has experienced repeated success with Pervasive software in their data center, and deployed on premise for local connectivity.

The Defense Logistics Information Service serves the data needs of diverse constituencies in the U.S. and around the globe, including the Department of Defense along with civil agencies, friendly foreign governments and the private sector through the Freedom of Information Act. Searching more than 16 billion records, the Tailored Data Products team has gone from delivering 4,745 custom data products in fiscal 2002 to 16,330 in fiscal 2009, all while keeping the same headcount of 11-12 people.  In 2009, 86% of the custom data products were created using Pervasive Data Integrator, creating 257 processes with more than 3,700 maps. The Tailored Data Products group also uses Pervasive Data Profiler to identify, report and help remediate data quality issues, and  has leveraged Pervasive technology to reduce the production time for 14 standard monthly reports from 3 days to 90 minutes.  Through skilled and creative application of Pervasive technology to deliver ever greater efficiencies and stretching the value of the taxpayers’ dollars, the Tailored Data Products team has built its reputation as a highly responsive, exceptionally productive resource for their many constituents.

EC Wise offers a range of services that enable their clients to plan, design, and implement sophisticated information technology initiatives efficiently, and cost effectively. They have designed and deployed one of the largest e-billing and payment systems in the U.S., processing billions of transactions per month. EC Wise has been instrumental in extending the range of connectors that are shipped with Pervasive Data Integrator. At IntegratioNEXT, EC Wise showed a business intelligence reporting solution with end-to-end visibility of metadata including data lineage.

Focused on developing and sustaining high-performing physician organizations, EthosPartners used Pervasive to replace its legacy data management technology with a highly scalable, automated solution to power the company’s growth.  EthosPartners has deployed Pervasive Integration Hub™ and integration agents to multiple clinics and hospitals to pull data from Practice Management Systems including NextGen, Epic, Centricity, MedInformatix, Misys, and Ideal.   As a result, processes that previously took 2 days for years of historical data now run in less than three hours and typical implementation times have been cut from one month to five days.
