INTELLIUN SELECTS PERVASIVE.SQL V8 AS STANDARD DATABASE AND INTRODUCES A NEW ERA OF APPLICATION DEVELOPERS TO PERVASIVE

AUSTIN, TEXAS—March 10, 2003 –– Pervasive Software^® Inc. (Nasdaq:PVSW), a leading provider of data-management solutions powering the success of application developers worldwide, today announced Intelliun Corporation, an innovator in simplifying J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) development, has chosen Pervasive.SQL^™ V8 as the standard database to ship with both its development and deployment environments.
