PSQL Radio: A Year in Review!
The Pervasive Database Group were busy in 2006. Over the course of the year we have posted many updates to our collateral, white papers and success stories. Many PSQL users might be surprised to know that there are over 50+ papers on PSQL that can be sorted by country, industry or product family ... and that doesn’t include the various white papers on data migration, upgrading and data security.
You might remember that in February we rolled out our updated support offering, which gives customer two free support tickets 30 days from purchase on PSQL products. We also expanded our online forum DEVTALK for users looking for immediate community responses on support and products questions. Customer can now post questions on a variety of topics and get reliable and proven feedback from partners and Pervasive employees.
We also provided information on how customers can come to Austin for PSQL training; we cover topics ranging from Installation steps, to Network topologies, to troubleshooting for beginners and intermediate users. These classes are also offered by our Training Partners in the U.S. and in Europe.
The March PSQL release included information on our updated Certification Programs. Pervasive now offers Certification for both Technical users (or administrators) and Developers. Both tracks are based on Pervasive PSQL v9, and upon completion users receive certification, use of certification logos and a letter sent from Pervasive to their employers showing they have achieved Pervasive Certification.
More information is available on the Pervasive Web site. This program, like many others we have implemented, is something we believe is beneficial to all users. We look forward to being able to offer more programs and benefits to our customers in 2007 and beyond.
