What is Galaxy?
Galaxy leverages both marketplace tools and crowed sourced integration to expand new revenue streams for Pervasive Integration Partners.  Galaxy will provide a single point of community interaction and allow the Pervasive ecosystem to explore opportunities in creating and delivering Solutions, Connectors, Plug-ins and Templates to clients. The focus of Galaxy is to bring Integration customers the speed and quality of the Pervasive Data Integrator Platform while taking advantage of the experience and knowledge of our Partners.
 
What are the Products?
Buyers can purchase Pre-Packaged Solutions, Connectors, Plug-ins and/or Templates. Each product provides a different set of Materials. Please look at questions regarding each product to see the difference.
 
What is a Solution?
A “Solution” is a product that provides a turn-key project with a point to point integration.  All “Solutions” are delivered with their own engine either through DataCloud or the DataCloud Agent (for on-premise integrations) and provide all the tools needed to run.  Other than a subscription agreement, no additional costs are incurred for the use of a “Solution”.  “Solutions” are a quick and easy method to get your integrations up and running in no time.  With a “Solution” it’s all about configure and deploy.
 
What is a Connector?
A “Connector” is an easy to install source or target adapter that allows you and your users to connect to an application, file or database for use in Data Integrator’s Map Designer. Connectors allow users to pick their application, file or database and begin mapping from a source field to target field in seconds.  These adapters increase the speed in creating a customized integration with the ability to provide mapping, transformations of data, record management and much more.
 
What is a Plug-in?
A “Plug-in” is an easy to install component that enable users to take advantage of external workflow tools within Data Integrator’s Process Designer. When creating a workflow, users may require steps that encompass options such as email, ftp, web service calls, queuing systems and much more.  A “Plug-ins” will fill that need to stop custom coding in order to make it simple and easy to provide flexibility and functionality to your workflows.
 
What is a Template?
A “Template” is pre-created workflow and/or map that allows user to either learn or take advantage of when starting on a project.

How does it work?
A Galaxy Partner ("Seller") will receive a percentage of revenue from the sale of one of their components.  All money will be deposited into the Sellers account until the end of the return policy.  After the return policy date has passed the amount will be added to the balance of each Seller.  The Seller may then request a check after they reach the minimum check request amount.
